Curb appeal is without a doubt one of the most important things that can either attract the right tenants to a rental property or send them running. In this article we will share our thoughts on improving the curb appeal of your rental property to help it rent sooner and for more money.
Tip 1 – Clean up the front to give a positive first impression
Do you have any broken or unused plant pots laying around the front? Maybe a half-used bag of potting soil or a discarded lawn chair? Take the time to clean up all of the clutter and discarded items. First impressions are important and you don’t want to give the impression that you neglect your rental. A little clean up effort can go a long way to getting you an excellent tenant.
Tip #2 – Wash the Exterior of Your Issaquah Rental
Yes Washing the outside of a house is a thing. We typically only wash the bottom story. We use rags a bucket with some soapy water and a garden hose to clean both the siding and gutters.
